Bush Garden

We are adding a Bush Garden to our Garden. This garden is going to be for all plotholders to use. Graeme is the Chief Bushman working on this project which will take time to complete.
We will report the project progress below:

In June, Graeme (Plot 242) put drainage along Plot 243a to improve the water-logged area near the Bush Garden.

In July, Graeme has planted the first plant in bush garden after much back-breaking work preparing the soil. We will extend the garden and create a path through fruit trees which will be planted soon. Eventually we will have a list of bush plants in the shed.

By August, the Bush Garden has been planted out. Thanks to a lot of hard work by Graeme. The plants are going to be labelled and we will run some sessions on how to use them in the future.

Please be aware that this is a trial garden and if deemed unsuccessful after a couple of years can be converted to a normal plot. The plot has had extensive work done to build up the soil level, to make it a suitable plot. Because of the complaints we have received we are abandoning further work in this area so we will still have a green area at the western end of our gardens.
Looking forward to healthy discussion about what you want of our gardens.

Anyone who are interested in the project or/and can provide some input, please contact Graeme.
