Spring Harvest – 2014

With the warm days, for those gardeners who planted strawberry would have seen the first big red strawberry. Hope yours are not damaged by the pests!

And for those who has boardbeans, isn’t this a fantastic year? No rust, big beans and lots of them!
Look at the boardbeans Michele (Plot 237) harvested.

The other thing the gardeners were harvesting – compost!
Beautiful, dark, rich compost from the communal compost area were being put into several plots. The plants of these plot would be so happy.
The compost were gone over the weekend. With the weather warming up, we should be able to harvest these compost more often.
